For more than nine years, Nim Manriquez has dedicated himself to protecting communities across southern New Mexico from unwanted pests. After graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Urban Pest Management in 2016, Nim launched Bug Busters LLC on November of that same year. Since then, he has expanded the company’s services to include weed control and wildlife control, steadily building Bug Busters LLC into a trusted name throughout southern New Mexico. Today, his company proudly serves Deming, Las Cruces, Silver City, Anthony, Sunland Park, Hurley, Bayard, Lordsburg, Hatch, Mimbres, and surrounding areas, with plans for continued growth.

Beyond pest control, Nim is also an active financial investor in small businesses. Inspired by his own journey of starting from scratch, he recognized early on that many entrepreneurs lack access to the funding needed to cover startup costs or scale their businesses. Through his investing, he helps other small business owners overcome financial barriers, giving them the opportunity to succeed and grow.

Nim’s dedication to entrepreneurship and community extends into leadership roles as well. In 2022, he joined the local Chamber of Commerce as a board member, becoming president-elect in 2023. After completing his term, he joined the MainStreet Board in 2024 and became active in Silver Spikes, both organizations focused on supporting small business growth and addressing community needs.

A down-to-earth family man, Nim continues to stay hands-on in the field, personally ensuring customers receive top-quality service. His commitment has earned the trust of more than 300 loyal customers and counting. Whether protecting homes and businesses from pests or investing in the dreams of fellow entrepreneurs, Nim Manriquez is building both a stronger community and a lasting legacy.
